In Rwanda there are pretty birds everywhere and their pretty sounds can be heard in the morning. You can also find monkeys up in the trees as you drive around in a car. You may even spot an antelope or hippo as you drive around the rural roads. There is a famous park in Rwanda where you can see rare mountain gorillas and there is another park with elephants, giraffes, zebras, hedgehogs, monkeys and other animals.
Rwanda is also called the Land of a Thousand Hills because there are so many hills. It’s a beautiful place.

In the rural areas, most of the houses are very simple. They added patches of grass in the front of this one to make the front pretty.
